A guy once told me that he thought dating was a waste of time. As he continued to explain why, I actually kinda agreed with him. He went onto to say that in the first three months of dating each person was on their best behavior. The next three months were spent realizing that the first 3 months were an act. And the following three months were spent by the couple in question realizing that they never liked eachother to begin with. So when I heard this, it kinda made sense. But dating is what we're "supposed" to do to find "the one."
I've been dating since I was fifteen. Well, I don't know about proper dating but I've been engaging in some kind of behavior with the opposite sex since I was fifteen, ok since I was twelve but who's counting? Look, I love men, I love sex, I love the idea of being taken out on the town all dolled up, I love the idea of love....I love, love. I've even been told I am in love with being in love. But it goes back to my original thought. Is dating a waste of time? And if dating is a waste of time, what are the single ladies to do? And don't say put your hands up!
